Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DrivenAI ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Old School Note Pad mobile app (the "App") and the drivenai.ai website (the "Site"). In short: the App is local-first. It has no accounts, no cloud backend, no analytics, and no ads — your content stays on your device unless you choose to export it.
Information we collect
The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Specifically:
- No sign-up, login, or user account.
- No analytics, telemetry, or tracking SDKs.
- No advertising or ad SDKs, in any tier.
- No cloud backend that receives or stores your notes.
Where your content is stored
Everything you create in the App — typed text, drawings, checklists, inserted photos, and notebook organisation — is stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that receive this content, and we cannot see it.
Photos
You can insert photos from your camera or files directly onto notebook pages. Those photos are stored locally within the App and are not uploaded to us or to any third party, unless you choose to export or back up your notebook yourself (see below).
Backups and exports (user-initiated)
The App lets you manually export a portable backup file (an
.osnb file) to a destination you choose — for example
your device's local storage, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox. This is a
deliberate, user-initiated action, not automatic cloud sync or app-managed
data collection.
Once you save a backup to a third-party service you selected, the handling of that file is governed by that service's privacy policy and your account with them. We do not receive, control, or have access to backups you create.
Payments
Old School Note Pad offers an optional one-time premium unlock (no subscriptions). When available, any purchase is processed by your device's app store billing system. We do not receive or store your payment details; the store handles the transaction.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Data sharing
Because we do not collect your content, we have nothing to sell, rent, or share. We do not share personal information with third parties.
Your choices and rights
Since your content lives on your device, you stay in control of it: you can edit or delete notebooks and pages within the App, and you decide whether and where to export backups. Because we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is no account for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf.
The website
The drivenai.ai website is a static informational site. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If you email us, we will use your message and email address only to respond to you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. If the App's data practices ever change, this policy will be updated before those changes ship.
