What to include when you write
To help us understand and resolve your issue quickly, please include:
- Your device model and Android version.
- The app version (if you know it).
- A clear description of what happened and what you expected.
- The steps to reproduce the problem, if you can.
- A screenshot, if it helps illustrate the issue.
Basic troubleshooting
The app won't open or is behaving oddly
Close the app fully and reopen it, and make sure you're on the latest version. Restarting your device can also clear up temporary glitches.
I can't find a page I made
Deleted pages go to a per-notebook "Recently deleted" area, where they can be restored. Check there first. You can also use the page manager's search to find a page by its typed text.
Restoring from a backup
Use the App's restore option and select the .osnb backup
file you previously exported. Restore is non-destructive — it won't wipe
what's already in the App.
Where do my backups go?
Backups are user-initiated: when you export, you choose the destination (your device, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and so on). Keep a copy somewhere safe, since your notes are stored locally on your device.
Photos won't insert
Make sure you've allowed the App access to your camera and/or files when prompted, then try adding the photo again.
